What does the Bible say about enough?
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 – In Our Weakness Christ's Power Rests On Us. “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
FIRST READING
At the end of the reading, the lector or reader says: “The word of the Lord” We respond: Thanks be to God. After the first reading, a psalm is read or sung. We say or sing a response.
[1] In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. [2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. [3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
To read aloud from the bible with conviction you have to read the words as though you had written them yourself. You need to say them as though they come from inside you — as though you were the first person to think of these particular words in this order.
Psalm 73:26 NKJV - God Is Enough For Me.
Genesis 45:28. And Israel said, [It is] enough; Joseph my son [is] yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.
"Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
Bereish*t bara Elohim et hashamayim ve'et ha'aretz. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
"Jesus wept" (Koinē Greek: ἐδάκρυσεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς, romanized: edákrusen ho Iēsoûs, pronounced [ɛˈdakrysɛn (h)o i. eˈsus]) is a phrase famous for being the shortest verse in the King James Version of the Bible, as well as in many other translations.
Loving Father, I worship You, for You are the Living God. I thank You for the privilege You have given me to read, study and meditate Your Word.
How do you end a Bible reading in church?
Conclusion of readings
In many Christian denominations, when the lector finishes reading the scripture lesson, they say one of the following: "The Word of the Lord." "May God bless the reading of His Word." "Here endeth the first/second lesson."
The word “amen” means Yes, Lord, I agree. May it be so, and may it be so in my life. This is the beginning of a correct response to God's Word. Yes, Lord, I AGREE - May it be so, in my life.

Colossians 1 says he is all-sufficient, the one who created the world and holds it all together, the one in whom wisdom and knowledge and the “hope of glory” are stored and in whom the fullness of deity dwells. Everything you really want is with him. And he wants to take care of you. He is taking care of you, now.
2 Corinthians 12:9
'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. '
“Your Grace is Enough” touches on multiple themes: the faithfulness, love, justice, and grace of God. Emphasizing the faithfulness of the covenant God—the God who wrestled not only with Jacob, but with us “sinners” too; the God who led us by still waters; and the God who is never separated from us.
Christ's Sixth Word From the Cross: “It Is Finished.”
What are the 7 Last Words of Christ? Traditionally, these seven words (which are more like “sayings” that contain more than a single word) are known as words of Forgiveness, Salvation, Relationship, Abandonment, Distress, Triumph and Reunion.
What is the 7th last word of Jesus?
7. Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.
God's first words may be “Let there be light,” but He had just as well said, “Let there be Gospel.” Here's what I mean. God Speaks into Darkness. Before God spoke those first words, “the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep,” (Gen 1:2).
The translated word in the Hebrew Bible is Beresh*th (בְּרֵאשִׁית): "In beginning". The definite article (the) is missing, but implied.
The Word of God is threefold: Jesus Christ is the living Word, the Bible is the written word, and preaching is the spoken word.
In the King James Version (KJV) Esther 8:9 is the longest verse and John 11:35 is the shortest. Sometimes a sentence spans more than one verse, as in the case of Ephesians 2:8–9, and sometimes there is more than one sentence in a single verse, as in the case of Genesis 1:2.
Pope Leo the Great, reflecting on this same passage, is thought to have said: "In his humanity Jesus wept for Lazarus; in his divinity he raised him from the dead." Jesus felt deeply the pain of Lazarus' death.
According to the Bible, Methuselah died the year of the flood but the Bible does not record whether he died during or prior to the flood. He was also the oldest of all the figures mentioned in the Bible.
The Hebrew word for God Almighty is El Shaddai – the God who is more than enough – more than sufficient. It means that He has the power to complete promises of blessings and prosperity.
“There are three things that are never satisfied, four that never say, 'Enough! ' the grave, the barren womb, land, which is never satisfied with water, and fire, which never says, 'Enough! '
Psalms 37:19 New Living Translation (NLT)
They will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough.
Where in the Bible does it say today's worries are enough?
Matthew 6:34 is “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” It is the thirty-fourth, and final, verse of the sixth chapter of the Gospel of Matthew in the New Testament and is part of the Sermon on the Mount.
Ask God to help you identify anything in your life that distracts you from Jesus and then as you picture that struggle or temptation pray, “Jesus is enough for me.” You can also you the “Jesus is Enough” prayer in intercession. This is a form of contemplative intercession or abiding in prayer for others.
It's not that you are enough, it's that God is enough. And when you take what you have and offer it to him, then it becomes more than enough. This is the reason what you have is all God needs. Regardless of the challenge before you, remember that what you give to him is enough to meet the challenge.
Proverbs 30:15-17 New International Version (NIV)
' they cry. “There are three things that are never satisfied, four that never say, 'Enough! ': the grave, the barren womb, land, which is never satisfied with water, and fire, which never says, 'Enough!
1 Kings 19:4. But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die, and said, "It is enough. Now, O the LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers."
Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything —every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.
Proverbs 6:10-11 New International Version (NIV)
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest— and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.
How are Christians instructed to care for the poor? There are over 2000 references in the Bible to the poor.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Isaiah 41:10
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” The Good News: God is with you even in the anxious times to help you release your worry and find the strength to continue.
